Mum & Dad, I haven’t lit this candle before now because I’ve found it hard summarising over 58yrs of your devotion to me.
Dad, you were my strong, protective, wise, straight talking Dad who was a proper man. You loved me to the end, you taught me a great deal about work, history, life, being a man and a lot more. Thank you Dad.
Mum, my best friend, my wonderful, beautiful, magnificent Mum. You devoted your life to us, your love was endless, your guidance was perfect, your encouragement, support and understanding was always there. Hopefully your caring, loving, compassionate nature has rubbed off on us. Thank you Mum.
I couldn’t have had better parents if I had searched the world. I’m going to miss you both so much and am still struggling to come to terms with you not being there for me. Life without you seems empty.
I loved you both so much all of my life and will love you both forever more. Look after each other.
