Nannie & Grandad... this chapter of your love story has come to an end on earth but your story continues - heaven has gained two more of our Angels. You could not be apart for more than six days, and much like your time on earth, Grandad went first to scope it out, and once he could wait no longer he called his love to join him. A 15 year old girl and a 16 year old boy who were besotted with each other from the moment that their eyes first met in Croydon 70 years ago, still adored each other as the day they first met. Like most fairytales, you both had your fair share of challenges throughout your lives - but like all of the greats, you faced them together. Thank you for raising the bar, and for setting an example that I can only dream to aspire to. You have left us all devastated, but we are a family of Murrell's - we are strong and you have raised us to look after one another.
